Dan is AMI's founder, President and Chief Executive Officer. As one of the first asbestos consultants in the Midwest, Dan helped institute many of the industry's practices and procedures commonly used today. While his credentials and experience are extensive, Dan is especially known for his big-picture, solution-focused results and his relentless, get it done leadership. As a former President of the Mid-America Chapter of the Design-Build Institute of America, Dan is highly in tune with the design-build delivery process and the unique role of specialty contractors to the design-build team.

As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for AMI, David is responsible for keeping the company operating smoothly and efficiently. David has been deeply involved in multiple facets of the environmental remediation and contracting industry since 1987, and with AMI since 1995.  David has broad experience in a variety of industries, but he is known especially for his work in health care and research facilities and other facilities with sensitive environments or historical significance. Highly focused and disciplined, David is also known for his methodical performance and strict adherence to quality control objectives.

Larry Owens

Larry joined AMI's Computer Assisted Drafting and Design department in 1994 and worked his way up to vice president. From his senior position, Larry works closely with many of AMI's key clients, assessing needs and designing solutions. Larry is also responsible for negotiating agreements, estimating projects and managing many of AMI's strategic relationships.  Skilled, dedicated and extremely organized, Larry's experience is invaluable to clients and colleagues.

James Pagel

Jim is one of AMI's chief environmental scientist and most diversified specialist. As vice president of consulting services, Jim formulates and implements many of the environmental testing and monitoring solutions for AMI's clients. Jim also leads a team of project managers and directs the consulting services provided on asbestos and lead abatement projects. He also conducts building inspections and mold and indoor air quality investigations. Jim has a BS in Environmental Sciences and numerous environmental certifications. He is also proficient in Phase Contrast Microscopy and several industrial hygiene disciplines. Jim joined AMI in 1997.
